Century House

Century House, only a few minutes from the centre of Oamaru, is a classic 1900's Villa with comfortable tasteful rooms, ornate ceilings, original features and lead light windows. The 1902 villa sits proudly in all day sun, offering a peaceful and quiet place to stay.

The Century House Accommodation is a completely self contained part of the main house. Often called a flat, or flatette here in New Zealand, it includes 2 bedrooms and a private bathroom upstairs, a small kitchenette, dining area and lounge downstairs. The doors open onto the lovely garden and outdoor seating area.

The accommodation is ideal for up to 5 people, with bed configurations suitable for up to 4 individuals, 2 couples or small families. Comfort and quality are combined with old fashioned hospitality to make your stay an enjoyable one. Add on a full cooked breakfast or sumptuous dinner in the main house cooked by your host Dawn, an experienced chef.

Spend time enjoying our private sunny garden and spa pool, or use us as a base to explore the beautiful surroundings of North Otago. There is so much to do around Oamaru with the Alps to Ocean Cycle Trail, Oamaru's Victorian heritage and the world famous Steampunk, to name a few.
